Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples is an American performer and actress. Most famously, she is known for her portrayal of Layla Grant, in Nashville (2012) drama as well as Claudia Shepard from Sharknado (2013). She was the lead character Jerrica Jem Benton in the movie of 2015 Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples grew up in Lake Mary Florida by parents Wendy and Ashley. The younger sister of her is Ally. Aubrey performed at The Orlando Repertory Theatre in her youth for 10 years. Her speech was the valedictory for her class at Lake Mary Preparatory School. Harvard University admitted her, but she needed to be able to consent for her admission a second time due to her Nashville role. Peeples appeared in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) as well as regular roles in Necessary Roughness (1991). She appeared on television in Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective 2009 and The Good Mother. She played a prominent role on the Nashville series in which she played Layla Grant. Peeples spoke about her bipolar disorder in an interview that she provided the magazine NKD Magazine. Indiewire listed Peeples among the best actors younger than twenty-one in September 2014.
